Думаю, они надеялись, что это создаст впечатление, типа, прям " королевские покои!". Но, знаете, иногда эта пафосность работает. Особенно, когда ты устал, хочешь отдохнуть, и тебе пофиг на "королевские покои", лишь бы кровать была хорошая. И, признаюсь, у них кровать – огонь!

Просто попросил подогреть. И они это сделали! Так что, как видите, разные ситуации бывают. Но персонал в целом приветливый, стараются угодить. Просто, к сожалению, не всегда получается.

Главное, повторюсь, - кровать! После долгой дороги это просто спасение.

Слушайте, решать, конечно, вам. Но если вам нужна хорошая кровать, чистота и более-менее нормальный сервис, то Grand Monarch – вполне себе вариант. Да, там есть свои недостатки (особенно с едой), но в целом, впечатление осталось положительное. Главное – не ждите от него чего-то сверхъестественного. Это просто нормальный отель, где можно переночевать, отдохнуть и выспаться. А это, порой, самое главное! Я бы, пожалуй, остановился там ещё раз. Хотя, конечно, было бы неплохо, если бы они улучшили кухню...

Ой, да много чего... Но вот история, которая до сих пор со мной. Приехал я туда, значит, уставший, как собака. Заселился, разделся, и думаю, ну, сейчас я в душ сбегаю, расслаблюсь, а потом спать. Захожу в ванную... А там! Ни капли горячей воды! Вообще! Я в шоке, конечно. Звоню на ресепшн, объясняю ситуацию. Мне там что-то мямлят про "аварии", "понимаем". Жду, жду... Через час вода появилась. Но еле теплая! Я уже был готов устроить скандал, но потом подумал: ладно, хрен с ним. Быстро помылся, как мог, и в кровать. И вы знаете что? Спал, как младенец! Вот это и запомнилось больше всего. Парадоксально, конечно. Плохой сервис, но отличный сон. Потому что КРОВАТЬ!
